Mission:
Sporting Iowa's acceleraTioN Program is designed to elevate the soccer experience for youth players by providing a dynamic and challenging environment that seamlessly blends fun, game-like scenarios with purposeful skill development. Our program is designed to bridge the seasonal gap, fostering year-round player growth.
We are committed to cultivating a community where young athletes thrive, learn and evolve through realistic game actions. We will emphasize genuine progress through a holistic approach to nurture player development.
Players within acceleraTioN will learn to play with bravery, confidence, and a next-moment mentality. What does the next-moment require from me? We will always work hard to win the ball back; we will never hide from the ball simply because we give it away; and we never blame others. Within acceleraTioN, players will learn through our core values around work rate, active engagement, and ownership. Our mistakes will not define us, our responses will!

Sessions conducted by our Girls ECNL Director, Trevor Neary, and other high-level Sporting/College staff. No program in the area offers the level of expertise, experience, commitment to player development, and all-around coaching prowess as acceleraTioN!

Individual Attention:List Item 3
Small groups of no more than 8-12 players per group ensures maximal attention for each individual

Structured Sessions:
Aligned with Sporting Iowa's game model and principles. Emphasis and focus 1v1 dominance, disguise of action, pass detail, and gold/green zone finishing/defending.

Specialized Programming:
Our specialized program and curriculum will allow for players to grow different facets of their game in a competitive environment with their peers. Within acceleraTioN, we will utilize small-sided activities for our like-for-like groups to create match-like scenarios. We will continually challenge the players to grow in an appropriate developmental setting.

Fitness Component:
Specifically tailored for U13-U19 through game realistic actions to replicate a true preseason feel and to accelerate growth and confidence for the upcoming season!
DETAILS:
- Duration: 5 weeks
- Frequency: 3 sessions per week (15 total)
- Dates: June 23rd, 24th, 26th, July 7th, 8th, 10th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 28th, 29th, 31st
- Age Groups and Timings:
- 9U-10U Boys and Girls: 5:30-6:45pm (2016-17 Birth year)
- 11U-12U Boys and Girls: 6:45-8:00pm (2014-15 Birth year)
- 13U-14U Boys and Girls: 6:45-8:00pm (2012-13 Birth year)
- 15U-19U Boys and Girls: 5:30-6:45pm (2007-2011 Birth year)
- Location: HyVee Multiplex (formerly GrimesPlex), the premier sports facility in the Midwest
- July 24-31 Dates will take place at a different complex (TBD)
- Cost: 3 different options upon registration;
- Package 1: Sign up for three weeks for $325 ($36.11/session)
- Package 2: Sign up for four weeks for $400 ($33.33/session)
- Package 3: Sign up in full for $450 ($30/session)
- Training attire: Each player will receive 2 t-shirts as a part of registration that they’ll wear at each session. You’ll need to buy or use your own navy/black shorts & socks.
- Miscellaneous: You’ll receive confirmation email upon registration of necessary details. Closer to the first session, you’ll receive all details needed to be efficient and ready to go for day 1 (field #, coach you are assigned to, first day arrival time, etc.)

Flexibility for Summer Plans & Soccer Community:
We understand summer is a time for families and competing activities and realize players may miss a session or two. AP is designed to allow flexibility for players with three different registration options to provide ease of mind when registering!
Our program is scheduled to accommodate all Sporting Iowa Summer Camps, allowing participants to make the most of all our programs.
